I started to love his Chinese fans. Nole is seemingly the most favorite in China. The audience always gives him the biggest support when he plays on court. I love it. Thank you all for that and hopefully Nole plays well in Shanghai not to disappoint them

It's so refreshing and fascinating to see how much he's loved by the crowd there. I'm really thankful to Chinese fans for showing their passion to him propusely.

No wonder they get some quality tennis from him every year in return.

The moment Nole smashed the racquet, very scary

. But this made him release the pressure and played well afterwards. I think he needs such the moments when he cannot play as he wants

I was happy he did,as you say it was a way for him to release the tension,and the crowd were good sport,not booing him like they do elsewhere

And we can tell how important the crowd support is: the crowd carried Nole through the last stages of the second set. After that tweener & drop-shot they went wild... Imagine having a crowd like that everywhere... I'm so happy the Chinese love Nole so much...

That's true, unfortunately. Nole feeds from the crowd's energy. The problem is when they don't give it to him. He shouldn't let his game be affected so much by the crowd.
