I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...

Kramer set the standard for tennis post WW2 His long tours where he was clearly superior to all challengers is proof enough, in my opinion.

Kramer is random? A player who was #1 in the World for 4 years is random? The guy who was basically the father of modern pro tennis is random? The guy has a tennis racket named after him for fuck's sake and you call him random?
Kramer certainly deserves a place in the Top 20 but I can't see the rationale for putting him above Gonzales just because he owned him in his 1st professional tour. Pretty much everybody who turned pro was owned in his 1st professional tour. Gonzales owned Laver, Rosewall, & Hoad, did he not? The conditions were just too different from the amateur tour for the new pros to adapt in time, & this was compounded by the higher standard of play. Having to play peak Kramer or Gonzales in your 1st pro tour was a bit like having to fight Ali or Sugar Ray Robinson in your 1st professional bout. The fact remains that whatever happened between them, Gonzales achieved far more on the pro circuit than Kramer did.

Why do you have the AO at .5 . It should not count for more than .25 therefore Nowe is at most at 1.25 HC Slams.

Yes, I've got Kramer back now at #8 and Gonzales and Sampras above him.

TRUE! I think though Kramer had the disadvantage in that the Pro Tour was not well organized when he joined it. The slam events, except perhaps for Wembly, were somewhat inconsistant. Jack, from what I have read, was very much involved with improving the Pro Tour.

Its 0.5 for Nole also tbh

AO doesn't count as hard court

It's just under the heading "mud"

That seems fair. I'd also consider putting Borg back ahead of him. I know he suffers on the No.-1 thing but that's partly because he was f*cked over by the ranking system, and let's face it, doing the R.G.-Wimbledon double 3 years in a row is one of the most legendary achievements in the sport.

Lawl, then Emerson should be top 20 above Kramer.

I'd put Borg ahead of Kramer as well.

Also, Johnny groove, please get off your lazy ass and update fed's list of achievements.
