Re: Qualifying Draw
I think the portuguese can both get to 2nd round. Then with Machado vs Tomic (he lost to him at RG, he's not expected to win here...) and Sousa vs Ryan Anderson they'll probably both come home. I hope I'm wrong though...

Re: Qualifying Draw
Yes, I still dislike Kubot, Diana. I'll probably never like him, and since he's defending points at Wimbledon I hope he loses so he will fall from the top 100.
Ilhan has a so-so draw. Janowicz serves big but Marsel has the type of game to beat him. Then a Brit in R2, which is always tough, they will give their all to win. Then likely Fischer, who is good on grass. I think Fischer is a good draw compared to what he could have gotten for the final qualifying round. I think he'll qualify.
Frank is in a tough section, and I can see him losing his R1 match to Robert. His R2 is also difficult on paper. He is the most talented player in the section and he's done well in GS qualifying in the past so we'll see what happens.
Kuznetsov v Bohli is very 50-50 IMO. Andrey has an acceptable draw but not an easy one.

Re: Qualifying Draw
Filo, Kubot has two chance for defending this 45 points... if he loses to Ciric here, he can play at German challenger too and he doesn't need too lot of points for saving his top 100 ranking.
Then he doesn't need to defend any points in summer... nothing.

Re: Qualifying Draw
Well that makes it even more important that he loses to Ciric

Re: Qualifying Draw
Do you think Łukasz will lose to him?

Re: Qualifying Draw
Kubot losing to Ciric on grass would be an absolute joke. But then again, it's Lukasz, so anything is possible. The odds for a Q1 loss are as low/high as those for a 4R MD appearance.

Re: Qualifying Draw
No, I expect Kubot to qualify, Diana. Ciric is a clay player and the only way he'll win is if he serves huge constantly.

Totally agree.
You know Filo predicts always loss for him.

Re: Qualifying Draw
Flavio has a great draw and he just beat Munoz so I think he can do it again. With that said, I think Bautista will beat him.

I expect him to qualify but that doesn't mean I would vote for him to do so or want him to

Re: Qualifying Draw
Kubot isn't the player I dislike most, Diana. I dislike Kukushkin much more (the player I can't stand the most). I also dislike Gremelmayr a lot more. Those two off the top of my head, I can't stand.
I don't hate Kubot, I just don't like him. I over exaggerate my dislike for him to get attention

Re: Qualifying Draw
The Brown-De Voest section for me is the most open. Very hard to predict who will make it through there. I picked De Voest because I think his tricky game will get under the skin of all his potential opponents. I think Zemlja has a pretty decent shot at beating Dustin, solid player vs. wild player.
I'm surprised so many have picked Ito to win his section. I think Andi Beck would definitely beat him if they played.

Don't forget about Odesnik. I never saw you making so many names for one player

Re: Qualifying Draw
I don't like seeing Bozoljac, Beck and Darcis in one section in opposite of Cipolla, Di Mauro, Munoz De-La Nava etc. in the other
