WTF!? A WC for some Polish guy in a German tournament?! And it isn't like Kubot is a big name or a promising youngster... Strange decision.

Top 70 guy who beaten your Kohlschreiber here two years ago. Plus he beaten Almagro on clay in this year, I think it is enough for reason.

But Kubot won`t bring any fans to the tournament. Besides of that, we Germans need this tournaments to push our young players, so they need the wildcards. Kubot would have qaulified anyway.

In fact it is not a bad idea. With 3 members of the French DC team and 2 of the German team on the list, it makes sense to wait for possible retirements depending on the DC-result. Otherwise they might end up with so many distorted seedings and lucky losers that the tourney might get rather bizarre.
