Default Roger can win the French Open right?

With Rafa not playing at his usual high level on clay – ironically, is this French Open Roger's best chance at increasing his majors total? Roger only really has to defeat Novak and if Rafa maintains his average-level-play, together with what might be a tiring semi-final against Murray, the door could be open for Roger to steal this from under everyone's noses. His air of invincibility might not be there anymore and Novak is riding a tsunami of confidence but one would have to consider that Roger has been here multiple times, been the second-best clay courter in the past half decade and given his still-amazing shot-making ability – Roger is in with a chance right?

Fed in the final is Nadal's only hope of winning this tournament.

Btw, don't forget Monfils, it's not exactly a walkover

He can, if he gets by Djokovic somehow, and if Soderling or Murray beats Nadal. Even a sub-par Nadal will moonball Fed's BH into oblivion.

He can beat Djoker if he plays well in a best of 5. Never met in a BO5 on clay, would be an interesting contest.

Weirdly enough, he's got a better chance of beating Nole than Rafito does, who will just get schooled all the way to the Eurotunnel.

This is sadly true. However Federer doesn't have to feel guilty though. He has achieved his success through exceptional raquet ability not through unnatural athleticism. There's definitely a Wimbledon and/or US open left in his locker though. I'm certain of it.

Federer barely can defend anymore on clay, as long as he plays opponents who cant take advantage of this he is safe, however I cant really see how he is going to beat Djokovic. I mean, his only hope is to serve like somekind of freak, stay with Djokovic in sets and take every single oppurtunity that appears on Novak's service games. He has to be extremly aggressive and still hold his UEs down and be very effective at the net to avoid long rallies.

At the moment I would give him 1 in 10 to beat Djokovic, I think Federer played an excellent match in Australia against Djokovic but sadly just didnt take the oppurtunitites that appeared in every set.

Federer has beaten subpart Nadal twice on clay, he has never faced Nadal at his current level in Roland Garros. Imagine an even more tired Nadal after having played Soderling and Murray, I think Federer has shown before he can exploit any sign of tiredness (mental or physical) from Nadal.

Sorry mate, man do I wish that was true but I honestly can't see Fed beating Nadal at RG. Hey, I hope I'm wrong.
