Thanks guys.

I'm so fucking pumped for this shit. I haven't played a tournament match since March 16. That's 3 weeks off. In those 3 weeks, I've trained my ass off, worked hard, fell in and out of love, started talking to Natalie again (determined to take it slow), continued talking to a few other girls but keeping my main focus on the game, retired, un-retired, saw my coach have a heart attack and a stroke and come back, and now it is fucking time to win.

I can't wait to go to sleep in 2 hours so I can get up at 5 am tomorrow and go kick some fucking ass. Yeah, I remember those nights. And now I am going to go and seize the fucking day.

Default Re: Johnny Groove wins epically again, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4

Fucking awesome win today.

First set, came out very good, 6-2. 2nd set, he plays better, and at 2-3 he breaks me by drop shotting my serve 4 times! He takes it 6-3.

He holds to start the third at love, and for a brief moment, I fear I may lose yet another match from a set up.

But I right the ship, hold for 1-1. "Fucking vamos man! Stay in this!"

Again he holds, 2-1. Again I save 15-30 to hold for 2 all. At this point I am yelling every point, grunting loudly. Between points, I am remembering the nights. "Over my dead fucking body will he win this god damn it."

Every point is a war. Small crowd starts to gather, hearing my yells from the other side of the complex. I break him for 3-2 and yell out again.

"Gotta be aggressive. Go for it, dance with who brung ya."

He breaks back for 3-3, I am living and dying with every shot. I realize I am tiring myself out with all the yelling. I calm down a bit and break for 4-3. Another loud yelling.

I serve at 4-3, 30-40, 2nd serve. I remember the nights. Good 2nd, inside out forehand winner. "Yes! That's how you save a fucking break point!"

I hold for 5-3, have 2 mp on his serve, but he saved with some big shots. At 5-4, first point a long rally, he comes in, I rip the bh, he volleys into open court, I chase the fh and flick dtl for a winner! Another yell, of course. 15-0, great serve wide, he misses. 30-0. Another yell. 30-0, long rally, his approach clips the net, I race forwards and guide a fh slice for another winner. 40-0, rally, approach, he misses the bh wide and I thank every deity I could think of that I got the win

Next match at 130 vs. Mejia, a 14 year old prodigy. I must recover and stay hydrated

I'm not familiar with the tennis hierarchy. Is this is decent level or really low level or what?

This is the level at which Johnny is operating.
