Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
You should have let me know you were planning to go, you could have borrowed my shirt for support.
Cheer him on for all of us.

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
6-3 1-6 7-6(9) 6-4!!
Finally first spring win!! Won en epic 3rd set being 0-4 down, played some amazing tennis on ti-break, this volley reaction was crucial! So encouraged by public, who shouted "Arnaud" at the most important points.
I'm so happy and on emotions, that can't write so much! I hope you saw this
So great that this needed win came in RG, Berrer next!

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
I loved it! Allez Arnaud! And what an amazing comeback in the 3rd set.
After that set when they showed him during the break, he had this very cute little smile on his face.
I do find it funny that when you ignore the scoreline and look at the stats (first serve %, ue's, etc), it looks as if Volandri won.

Yes
I don't see all the match of course but Arno was looking abyssimal when he lost those 10 games in a row the come back in the third was incredible and the tie-break crazy . Arno was so up and down with by moments poor serve and poor forehand nad then a bit better but we are lucky Volandri is one of the poor servers of the tour . It was a win of the heart
His shoulder is bothering him he had to take medecines today http://www.lequipe.fr/Tennis/breves2...u-2e-tour.html

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
Thank you so much for all these videos !!!
I couldn't go to internet before, it makes me very happy to see him so smiling on the court, and offcourt, and hear him to be so happy. It's good, after all these bad months. It's just perfect to win ONE match, the 3rd of the year, in RG !!!!!
I would have liked to see some points of the match, or the match point, so u know where I can find that ?
Unfortunatly, I can't go to Roland tomorrow (wednesday), it seems I can't buy tickets for small courts the day when I come, I didn't know, I think the system has still changed this year
I would have loved to see him with chardy in double...

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
I can watch all the videos, except the one from Francetv. I always hate it that they are able to show you the commercial, but not the actual video.

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
Thanks again for the videos, I love this (not acadamic) reflex volley ! And the the reaction of the crowd. I would have loved to be there yesterday (and today ), there's always an excellent atmosphere on court 2.
oh, and Amelie Mauresmo, still as fan of Arnaud, she's no nice, she always says how much he's a great guy and she loves him.

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
I cant' believe he lost that first set with all the opportunities he had well i was more watching Garcia Sharapova on tv that my streaming but he got many BP and set points during the tie-break . Then I left but when I come back on scoreboard he was 3-0 up in the third and just lost his break I'm afraid he could be tired now
And Broken by love while he was serving for the set damn

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
From 5-2 to lost the set 5-7 he can have regrets because of the many opportunities he had but he's so up and down and at crucial moments his lack of confidence goes out he's very fragile. The powerwul strokes and the agressivity of Berrer are on fire atm. That's a pity he can have take it in three and now he's near to be out

Re: Vamos, It's the late clay season
I continu my monologue
Painful loss again so far and so close That first set was important he needed it so much . He had a good period during two sets and a half almost the best player on court but only one set in his pocket during that period. When he had to conclude his lead he wasn't able missing lot of BP and losing often his leardership on the scoreboard . In the game he was better but not enough for the win unfortunately. He has missed a bit of energy by moments and confidence of course in crucial moments. 5/18 on BP
He asked for the physio for a pain in the thigh during the fourth for sure no more used to play so much lately hope it's not too serious. I hope as well he's not too much desapointed cos he can be.
