you're right.

He's lost 2 in a row and 2 of his last 8 matches have been losses.

Not to mention that those two losses have been a retirement and a match against someone he has trouble with.

What a nasty slump!

He just won a challenger tournament and he has moved his ranking up for direct entry into the French Open LOL what a slump.

he won one of the weakest possible challengers around. Like i said it disguised the fact that he's really not playing any better its just that his level he's at now was good enough to beat the players he came across

By saying 'momentum', I didn't necessarily mean winning Rimouski title was something major or all of a sudden he's playing much better. Wasn't it obvious that the field was weak? Then again regardless of that, I wished the fact that he won a challenger title for the first time and that he gained match rhythm from stringing some wins together could do some trick for his favor psychologically, even if it might be a bit false.

he'll make the main draw but whether or not he actually wins a match is up in the air. Doubtful for the french but maybe he can at wimbledon
