btw, Vasek may have problem by the time he gets on court, strong wind is coming later in the afternoon and strong wind in the desert is definitely no good.

Vasek down a break twice so far in the third against Rodrigues, broke back each time, including at 4-5* just now.

Vasek Served under 40% in the first set and lost it, but then won the next two. Looks from the stats like he's still not playing all that well, but good to get a nice result anyways 
Several spots in the draw I think he could potentially win in, particularily the qualy v. qualy matches, of course.

Vasek draws Nicolas Mahut in Round One in #22 Juan Monaco's section.
Couldn't ask for a better spot.

OOP for tomorrow, fifth match on Stadium2. It sucks that there's no TV coverage of R1 matches. :-/
He scared me a lot though, ugly or not, it's such a big relief that he got through qualifying for once. This has been a rough season for him so far.
