No way?!? Really?
Actually, I believe its been 50 years since a plane has crashed due to lightning hitting it in North America. Pretty impressive engineering. That said, apparently it is still scary for the occupants of the plane.

Sarcasm much appreciated. Enough people make it sound like a life or death type of event though that there's no reason I shouldn't post that.

Yeah, you are right, I don't think most people know that its not that rare of an event.

Re: Peter Polansky
Peter drew 4th seed Thomas Schoorel in round 1
I know Schoorel's not a grass player per se but this will be super tough for Peter

Re: Peter Polansky
thomas schoorel v.s peter polansky
marek semjan v.s chris guccione
ivo klec v.s guillame rufin
alexander flock v.s marinko matosevic
im not sold on schoorel being that big of a threat on grass
but even if he gets past him matosevic is in his section as well and we all know he's had alot of trouble with him in the past
i dont see peter getting through this

Re: Peter Polansky
Can't see Peter beating Schoorel, but hopefully he'll surprise me. He's never won a match on grass, though, so my hopes aren't too high.

Re: Peter Polansky
Great first set from Peter.
This is where things tend to go south for him though so lets hope he keeps it together. Might be fitting in a year where he can't accomplish anything that he gets a win on grass
