Re: Peter Polansky
Does anyone see him going to 15K + H futures, you get 35 points for winning those so that is still good.

I would think the points should be the least of his worries - he needs to figure out how to win some matches, preferably 2 or more in a row. Maybe some Futures would be the way to go, but I haven't a clue.

Re: Peter Polansky
I have been thinking futures for a while now, but I don't understand how ATP players think at all.

Re: Peter Polansky
i suggested he play a couple futures a while ago
go play futures, get the wins going there then move up to the challengers for a couple weeks and then move back up to the atp
he just needs to get that winning feeling again and even if it is just futures atleast its a start someewhere, and like i said only a beginning
but he obviously feels he's above them

Or he is worried that he would lose there too, and then he really would be sunk.

Re: Peter Polansky
Knowing the way most guys like Peter think, he won't play futures until forced by ranking. Until then, he's going to keep the ATP Q/challenger route and keep trying to win.
Peter really exudes a lack of confidence, based on the many times I've seen him play. Like he thinks before he plays. He's doesn't have an assured way of himself. I think he has a good but not great game, but one that can be top 70-75. But if you aren't a special talent, you have to have that extra ingredient to back you up. A strong work ethic, mental toughness, physical toughness, personal self-confidence. Peter doesn't have any of that, and until he does, he's going to keep struggling.

Re: Peter Polansky
best of luck to him in Alessandria qualifying. He's facing the winner of Slanar or Zampieri in QR2

Re: Peter Polansky
thanks for the update
Zampieri has a 2-0 record against him, 1 on clay
but if Peter wins that should do well for his confidence

Re: Peter Polansky
Nice easy win over Caio, 6-3, 6-4. He was serving well - 72%, and only lost 10 points on serve.

Re: Peter Polansky
Looks like Peter was able to Qualify, these are his first points in a long time it seems.

Re: Peter Polansky
Assuming he did actually win (stupid scoreboard crashed out on his match - as it did on Duclos), this will be only the 2nd time this year that he has won two matches in a row.

Re: Peter Polansky
When you put it that way, it makes it sound pretty sad, but Duclos lost his match because I saw Korolev playing his final round of Q.

Re: Peter Polansky
Peter gets the #1 seed, Junqueira, definitely not what he needed to get some momentum going.
