Re: Peter Polansky
I can't believe Peter lost yet again! well.. actually I can. It's not like I'm surprised.. he's in a bad slump right now. I can't even remember the last time he won a match. He's just awful.
Maybe he hould go back to futures.. at least for now.

He did? OMG! I feel like such an idiot.. I was probably looking at some old result, because I read that he lost.. lol. Anyway, good to see him winning matches again! well, ONE match again. I kinda doubt he'll win much more than this. Sorry for being pessimistic, but thtis is Peter we're talking about. Him winning one match is basically a miracle. Would be nice if he proves me wrong though!

Re: Peter Polansky
Peter plays a Czech wildcard tomorrow in the first round of Prague qualifying.
Otherwise I like his draw. Of course this is Peter so nothing is guaranteed.

Re: Peter Polansky
Peter catches a slight break - his opponent has to play two matches tomorrow.
Routine 3 and 0 win today - expected.

Re: Peter Polansky
What is happening to Peter right now is quite sad, he has lost all confidence. I also think it is time to hit the futures circuit for a few weeks maybe to get some of that confidence back. As of next week, Steven will have more points then Peter does (30 to 29) That means that Milos, Frank, Vasek, Philip, Erik and now Steven have more points then Peter this year. Now quite sure what to make of that?

Re: Peter Polansky
i havea question for you guys:
a while ago a debate ..was unintentially started about what canadians deserved the wild card spots into the main draw for the rogers cup
almost everyone agreed that peter did deserve it
but..if his form of this season continues does he deserve that main draw wild card or should the wild cards go to vasek, philip and frank if they can continue to have(in general)better results than peter and should peter be made to qualify?

Since Milos doesn't need one anymore that opens one additional card up for everyone. And Peter's connections through his consistent Davis Cup play will likely see him keep a card. Plus past experience showing he can beat top 50 players on hardcourts.
And as pointed out in other places, as the Summer rolls around his level tends to pick up so I can't see him not getting a WC

Re: Peter Polansky
Regardless of form, he and Frank should get MD WCs because they've been there before and have won.
Bester and Pospisil should get QD WCs because I think they need qualifying experience first before they get into the main draw just like Milos did a couple of years ago. Plus, it's more likely they'll win in that draw than the Main Draw. Although if they keep rising in rank, they're probably gonna be given MD WCs

Re: Peter Polansky
Funny story about last year wc to duclos, Tennis canada gave a md wc to duclos last year and wanted him to stay in montreal the week before the tournament and prepare, but the genius decides to go play a challenger in bejing lol losing in 2nd round. One of the stupidest decisions i have ever seen.
