I think he did well too but just to be fair Russell also played that morning and played a three setter so they were both at equal footing.

As of today's update, Polansky is 6 out of Aus Open qualies, will be a close one to see if he gets in.

Although that is true, Russell played a couple hours earlier. Still, happy with the first result of the season. Only yesterday we were all worried about Ignatik in the first round.

That would be great.
What would be even more awesome would be a bunch of Canadians in the qualies draw. I remember back in Wimbledon 1988, There were 6 Canadians in the main draw. I said 6!
In an ideal world, Polansky, Chvjoka, PLD, Dancevic, Pospisil and Raonic would all play in the main draw but it's pretty obvious thats not happening.
