Well jazar was extremely unlucky there that Bogomolov didn't stay out there and play four more points and take the loss
Lousy to retire when trailing 67 25 in my opinion, but the rules are that if there's a retirement the SRs don't count, so it goes to countback and Dmitry Bond takes it on CB - Congratulations.
The Doubles result was fortunately more straightforward - congratulations to karo_em9 and vmbf and back luck acionescu and Ilovetheblues_86.

Yeah I think it stinks what Bogomolov did there, to be honest - unless he was actually dying he should have completed the match.

Re: Tennis Tipping #18a - Prague - Sunday Diffs Posted
Sorta glad we're at the end of this tournament - it's not been the easiest to manage (though nowhere near as bad as Rome-2 for Goldenoldie) with rain delays and then too many retirements and walkovers at the end.
With Hajek pulling out in his QF, which was the PTS match for the TT SF, Gonzo retiring in the SFs and now Bogomolov retiring in the final, the entire end of the tournament has been decided by countbacks, which isn't exactly satisfying.
Oh well - congrats to the winners, and bad luck to the runners-up, especially Jazar, who got the raw end of this deal today.

Congratulations for the Singles Title Dmitry Bond and really bad luck for Jazar.
Another big Congratulations to my friend Vmbf (Vander) that won the doubles Title with Karo.
And nice tournament for ilovetheblues_86 (Saulo) my partner of a lot of tournaments that lost on Doubles Final with acionescu.

Re: Tennis Tipping #18a - Prague - Congratulations Dmitry Bond and karo_em9 / vmbf
My 4th title together with Caro.
I just copied her picks this final day. Acionescu has her reasons. Always believe in women' instincts and intelligence.
Congratulations Dmitry Bond. Some times we need to be lucky, more than competent. Jazar
Acionescu and Ilovetheblues_86 Really good to defeat a friend
Thanks scoobs, great management here. Thanks Belludal, my friend, for the support.
Caro, you're great. You're one of the best doubles player here in Tennis Tipping. It's a pleasure and a honor to play doubles with you.

I guess I can't really complain though. I mean I did win a match earlier in the tournament on countback.
Really, retiring when your opponent is on the verge of victory is incredibly poor sportsmanship. If Rosol was serving at 5-2, all Bogomolov had to do was let him hit four aces. If Bogomolov was serving all he had to do was put the ball in the service box and let Rosol hit four winners past him. Unless he physically couldn't move, there's no excuse. It's just disrespectful to your opponent.
Thanks to everyone wishing me commiserations.
