It seems there will not be any live scoring here, so anyone who has any information on scores/results, please post it. Thanks

This is not fair.

Yesterday I checked to see if there were any OOP at 11:15PM and went to bed. Now I see that deadline has passed.

I'll send picks anyway.

It was unfortunate, but hardly unfair. It was a very early deadline because Rome are playing 2 rounds today.

I posted the OOP as soon as I saw it, which was 11.45. I looked every half hour or so.

You can always check the ATP site, and if you see the OOP before the manager does, you are welcome to send picks then.

I did see the ATP Challenger site, you bet I did. But I think it's a very unfair decission to put me out. I hope the board reconsiders and accepts my pick.

Furthermore, there are no livescores!! How can I know any results? I insist, I just want to play!!

I suggest you avoid playing challengers that have the same time zone as you as much as possible

That way you won't face this problem when the OoP is posted when you are sleeping and you don't have time to send picks because it was an early start.

I applaud your keenness, but the rules are there to benefit the majority, and if a manager accepts picks an hour after the deadline there will be chaos.

Nevertheless I will put your point in the managers' thread to see if any other board member is online.

Yes I understand that, but I barely know players from the 'American' challenger circuit, I'd play with random picks.

sfar, sorry but there are no exceptions, late picks are simply not accepted. Your excuse is "the deadline was early, I woke up too late" but why is this excuse better than, for example, "my internet connection was down" or "I sent picks to Evita by mistake, not -Evita-"? All those may be valid reasons but that doesn't matter, there are no exceptions, late picks are not accepted. There was a time a few years back when exceptions were allowed and it created lots of arguments and bad situations so the rule was changed.

I understand sfar but this is how Evita talk: there are no exceptions, rules are rules.

It's better to have no exceptions.

It seems they have had serious rain in Rome. Only 2 matches were completed and 2 more were started but not finished.
The postponed matches will still count for the TT first qualifying round, and the tournament's second qualifying round matches will count for TT final qualifying round.

This will mean a seriously large OOP which I will prepare now. I hope everyone will send picks, to make it worthwhile.

Gee thanks.
It's like putting grand slam effort into a challenger qualifier.
