Mardy in Madrid!
Mardy's next scheduled appearance will be in Spain at TMS Madrid, Oct. 18-24. Last year, Mardy got through Henman and Robredo before Federer took him out in round of 16.
Good luck to Mardy this year!

Re: Mardy in Madrid!
these fast indoor courts should be suited great for his quick game. No reason why he shouldn't do well and he wont be seeded so he'll be a dangerous floater for sure. COME ON Mardy.

Re: Mardy in Madrid!
He had just better hope he doesnt draw Federer early, or at all. His last two matches against him have been complete blowouts(4-6, 1-6 & 0-6, 3-6). He wont want to have Henman either or Marat. He could do well here, given that his game is great for indoors, but its very likely that he'll face a top seed early, which certainly wont help.

Re: Mardy in Madrid!
everyone worries he'll draw roger what if he draws andy? then he's screwed too he's only won one agaisnt him and that was coz andy withdrew with injury! so it's not good! hopefully he'll steer clear of both but we'll see, go fishy!

Re: Mardy in Madrid!
Actually, I would feel better about Mardy's chances if he drew Andy and not Roger. Even though Andy owns Mardy, I really feel that it's only a matter of time before he learns how to get past Andy. I think he can play against anybody but it's the choking during critical points that really kills him. He's got to learn to stop focusing on his opponent and just concentrate on his own game.

Re: Mardy in Madrid!
Well he can't draw either of them in the first round, the top seeds get a bye at Madrid and Paris b/c of the smaller season-ending draw. So he'll have to win another match before even having to worry about either of them.
