Great Britain.
Murray might win a slam or 2 in the future. Not this year, though...

Britain, with Murray.
France have way more players, but Murray is better than all of them put together.

Monfils can win a grand slam if he had a much better coach and a better preparation/schedule for Roland Garros, and of course a mickey mouse draw,
Roger Rasheed is useless, unable to help Monfils to be more mature and professional, unable to teach him some basic tactical skills on court ,
Gasquet lacks power ( forehand ) and he has a weak physical ( injuries ) and sometimes weak fighting spirit ( chokes ),
Monfils is still the best candidate to succeed to Yannick Noah

No: Nadal + Federer + Djokovic + Soderling, no way Monfils can go through any draw, good or bad. His SF run was a fluke, and he didn't make it again since then.

I said "Mickey Mouse draw"
R1: Giraldo
R2: Kendrick
R3: Lopez ( Feli )
R4: Melzer
Q: Soderling ( instead of Nadal )
S: Del Potro
F: Djoko
in 2013 an "upgraded" Monfils, more mature, with better preparation on clay might win, this guy reached quarters at RG@2009 despite his knees injury and a lack of preparation on clay, so for me it's not impossible

that's why I think Monfils needs more time, it will take at least 2 years if he wants to improve his game and reach another stage in his career,
currently he is a decent top 20 player but he has still the ability to become a much more better player if he hires a smart coach and if he changes his behaviour on court,
2013 is a good deadline

He is 25 this year, more time means 27 or more, you expect him to win his first slam at 27? no way.

it's not a valid argument,
because nowadays top players remain competitive even if they are older, much more than in the past , young players need more time to be mature and ready for the top 100 ( Dimitrov, Tomic ), there is a thread about that,
so in the futur it will be common to see grand slam winners who are > 25 years
and Soderling at 26 plays the best tennis of his life, he is not the same player he was 3 years ago, he is getting better with age, so Monfils can follow the same path
