Great score line there from Matthew over the form player from France. Lokbov beat Sam Groth today in two tie breakers but after coming through the qualifying he might be feeling the effects of all this tennis. Good luck to Matt.

Barton's form continues with a 6-1 7-5 win in the semi-finals. Lobkov had set points at 6-1 4-5*.

Matthew withdrew from Australia F1 next week but will be in action again the Sydney Challenger starting later this month. It's interesting that he's only played tour level qualifying and Challengers this year but the way he's going he might not have to go back to Futures (chances are he will play some but things are sure on the up).
