Re: AFL Round 1
Sydney @ $2.20 - That is gold.
Fremantle @ $1.62 is tempting. Need to see the squads first

Re: AFL Round 1
The Dockers have been absolute garbage in preseason and I expect them to struggle against the Lions.
Early leans on Saints, Roos and Swans

Re: AFL Round 1
Lions are shit and will finish bottom 2 with West Coast this year so it should be an easy win for Freo.

Re: AFL Round 1
Difference is, Sydney's players are stronger than Melbourne's and Goodes is in early season form - something that is rare for him. Swans win straight up IMO. And win by about 3-5 goals.

Dees won comfortably last time now some of the young kids have bulked up!Jack Watts have put on 12kg since his debut while some others have put on abit of beef!Jamar will destroy em,they couldnt handle him last time!Goodes will always be dangerous but dont see enough back up for him!Malceski is another massive loss! Also Bradshaw is still out,Dees will put up more of a score even if Swans are good in defence!Would be very very suprised if Swans get up n by 3-5goals but thats your opinion!Just think their a bad matchup for the Swans, they made them look slow last time aswell!

Re: AFL Round 1
Yep interesting that the Swans are underdogs. Will look at them closely.
Brisbane-Freo is a hard game to pick given the Dockers horrible early season form.
I think Gold Coast will easily win this years wooden spoon.

Re: AFL Round 1
Nah, Gold Coast will win 4-7 games.
Brisbane will win 2-5 games
West Coast will win 2-5 games.
Richmond will win 4-9 games
They could win the spoon, but it won't be easily I don't think.

Re: AFL Round 1
Bris,Ess and Syd look like a nice profitable treble. There opponents havent shown much pre season form to be favs.

Re: AFL Round 1
People say Fremantle haven't shown form, but what about Brisbane?
Struggled in their pre-season matches, got flogged by teams and the only team they beat was a Gold Coast squad without their stars. Brisbane's pre-season has been worse than Freo's.

Re: AFL Round 1
I'm sure Brisbane beat another team before GC, forget who tho. Freo have been just crap & travelling 1st up to Bris, i'd be nervous beating on Freo as favs here.
