It's because Barranquilla tournament started later than usual, so yes, not the normal pattern for a tournament, but it does happen from time to time. Thankyou Belludal for managing this tournament!!

I can't imagine how crazy it has been to try and sort everything out with the late tournament and being the middle of Miami! Must be HELL!

The only "issue" you can have is that if they play all the R1 singles tomorrow (or even the vast majority of them), you'll end up with a 14-16 match 2nd round and a 4 match 1st round. Some managers split the matches on the Tuesday for a better balance.

Ultimately though its the managers call and Belludal need not change anything if he doesn't want to
