It's horrific - and the footage is jaw-dropping
I guess it's a good thing the Japanese are prepared for major earthquakes and actual earthquake damage and casualties in places like Tokyo seems likely to be fairly light...but tsunamis...my God...not much you can do about a 10m wall of water
On a selfish note it makes me very relieved to live in a seismically stable region. |

I'll say.
In these regions, we love to moan about the weather and such but all in all, there's not a lot to complain about. Here, it doesn't get too cold in the winter, not too hot in the summer, we get plenty of rain (so good for farming,...), it's indeed a seismically stable region, there are no vulcanoes too close either,... |
