And if you or those close to you pull off the same crap as this Libyan tool there won't be a hole deep enough for you to hide. We'll smoke you out so you'd better start living like a civilised human being and treat your neighbours with respect and dignity.

My opinion is - do nothing. It's an interior issue of this country. No one is entitled to interfere, Libya should settle this by her own.

I disagree.

In 2011, we still have dictators in charge of countries. It's unacceptable.

Secondly, we do not want to leave Gadaffi there like we did Hussain in Iraq.

Has Gadaffi invaded another country?

Just Libya, so far.

Bringing down French and American passenger planes probably doesn't count, technically.

By forcing democracy on these countries though, aren't we 'dictating' how they should be run?

They didn't give a shit about Gaddafi for years, wined and dined him, said he was awesome for abandoning his WMDs, now all of a sudden he's a despot again.

And he hasn't invaded anyone, but with 80million Egypt on his doorstep, there's wiser ideas than that.

Do you know what's unacceptable? The west backing the cruel repression of protesters in Bahrain and Yemen. With the help of the most corrupt and authoritarian of the Arabian countries: Saudi Arabia, the US' henchman.

I don't think it's yours, or mine or anyone's right to judge what's best for a country.

Actually, first they put Libya into that list of terrorist nations and ostracised it. Afterwards, after Khadaffi decided to negotiate a couple of oil deals with western companies, they started treating like if he were their best ally... Blair, Berlusconi, Chirac... they all visited him. The US took Libya out of its list of "terrorism" and restored their diplomatic ties.

Now what? Is he the bogeyman again?

Saudi Arabia has always been a repulsive regime, but as we know, they're a US ally.
