I go to the gym just to have some fun. I don't eat as well as I should and I don't train as well as I should. I started with 65 kilos and now I'm about 68 kilos, after almost four months.
If someone cares, I can post a pic naked (?) showing my progresses in a few months.

It's going to take some convincing for me to upload shirtless pics of myself . This is a good diary of sorts to keep track of progress and complain if something isn't right or be happy about something going your way

On the advice Mjau and the positive encouragings of several MTF members, I am starting this day by day training thread. In it, I will detail my daily fitness activities.
Today, I got up around 9, took a shower, ate a plate of pasta, ate my daily multi-vitamin, stretched out my shoulders, chest, arms, back, sides, calves, inner and outer hips, quads, and hamstrings.
Then, I went to the court. I've been trying to do something about my backhand, and I attempted to switch to a 1 hander. I can hit a decent one hander, but w/o anything resembling the power of my 2 hander. So I switched back. I ended up hitting with my friend Sammy for about an hour and a half, then he went home and I hit with my friend Gyummo for another hour and a half.
About 3 hours on court today, I still need to lose weight 15-20 pounds to be honest. I felt a bit sluggish out there due to the extra weight. Other than that, my game was solid.
Then I came home, did my post workout stretching, and am now drinking a protein shake
Tomorrow will be much of the same.
But I also want to know, what do you, the rest of MTF do to exercise?
I saw your photo some times ago and don't think you need to lose weight
Your daily exercises made me ashamed, thats the amount of exercises for me for almost 1 month . My weekly exercises are: jog/walk for 40 minutes+1 hour of tennis. I also do jump rope (5 minutes)+hola hops (5 minutes) every day. Thats all If my working hours are not that long, gonna do more. Hardly any energy left after I return home from office

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.
I'm now becoming a CrossFit enthusiast, you can work out 15 minutes a day and still feel very good
Yeah I've heard about crossfit, it seems really interesting.
Besides, new studies show that short, high-intensity interval training for e.g. 20 minutes is more useful (for burning fat at least) than jogging. Read it here, good read overall: http://www.askmen.com/top_10/fitness...ess-myths.html

My routine includes badminton 3 hours/week, cross-country skiing or running 2 hours/week and gym 2 hours/week.
During summer and christmas i play 3-8 hours tennis/week (and then skip the badminton), only reason im not doing it now is mainly due to lack of decent guys to play with :/ I miss playing tennis on a regular basis

I bot agree and beg to differ having read a number of original studies, systematic reviews (the few good ones there are) and other kind of reviews on this subject. I have done this since my studies require me to do so, that said im not (that much) biased.
First of all, if you read the text you're referring to it says:
"This form of “cardio” takes well less than half the time (typically 12 to 20 minutes) of traditional long-distance cardio and leads to better results."
It leads to better results in test groups (I assume there have been test groups, i cant find any sources which to me is unacceptable when trying to be a reliable and serious source), but it's not saying that it's a more efficent kind of exercise when it comes to burned kcal/workout. Since there's no source to read I can only speculate how that result was obtained. Most probable is what many other studies have shown: that the most efficent kind of exercise (when the aim is burning fat or weight loss) is a pain in the ass and many people quit since it's too hard.
Im not trying to be an ass here, just wanna shed some light on what alot of people are, quite commonly, missing when reading these kind of stuff. I mean, it sounds great "just" spendning 10-20 minutes on high-intensity training instead of having a bore 60+ minutes jogging, and to most people the 10-20 minute work-out is the best way to go since alot of (many previously untrained/not in good shape) people get injured or stop doing the tougher/more time-consuming work-out earlier compared to the high-intensity one.
Agreed: The short kind of training is best for the mainpart of people.
Though, the (few) ones who can and will stick to the more time consuming and "more painful" exercise will gain more weight-loss and get a better protection from heart and vessel diseases (among others).

A month stuck at 84 kg, probably should lower my calorie intake or take up some sort of aerobic exercise. I HATE jogging with a passion but it's an idea... I could jog to a gym a bit farther away, maybe it wouldn't be that bad.
Went to a body scanner today, have you guys tried these? Of course it's difficult to get the scans right but it probably has some merit . The scanner measured my body fat percentage at 19%, with the normal rate being 10-20%. So a bit elevated, but nothing major. Muscle mass was measured at 38,9kg, with the normal range being 30,6-37,4kg . Happy about that. The machine suggested an ideal weight of 80,1, which has been my goal. Just have to cut eating and/or start burning some calories with aerobic exercise.

Re: MTF Fitness
*BUMP THREAD*
Okay everyone i just completed my first workout in months. Heres the 3 exercises i did in 4 rounds:
1. Ninja lunge 10 rep
2. One leg situp butt lift 10 reps
3. Pike Press (i had to do a modification for this exercise because it was hard as fcuk ) 10 reps on each leg
Before i did this workout, i did a warmup and stretching, because its very very very important to get your muscles and body ready for 5-10 minutes.
I did 4 rounds of 3 exercises and completed in 13:47:66.
Cooling down for 5 minutes.
It was a great workout, it was quick but really really intense.
I've managed to get my weight down to 81,5kg but Christmas will surely mess up my eating habits . Gym results are similar, happy about that. Bench press scores are similar and I've been able to increase the strength in my back which has always been a weak spot.
Have been slacking on working out the legs though, have to change that!

Yea im trying to tone and gain strength really. Thats all i need to do, the only thing i need to lose weight is my stomach, which as always been a problem for me.
