Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Yeah, a really good effort from our boy, first time ever on such a big court!

I didn't get up early enough to watch but it sounds like he acquitted himself well
Also, Nottingham challengers next.

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Jurgen played excellent tennis. Its a shame that he didn't make olympics and therefore mixed doubles with Kaia. He could have made the third round if he had an easier opponent
Anyway, may I suggest that you change the title. Not only is it not true, but it makes his thread harder to find. Just a suggestion
I hope he tries to play more ATP tournaments soon. He has the ability and playing ATP will give him confidence, even if he goes down the rankings making the transition

Another big server for Jurgen, just needs to take care of his own serve and take the chances when they present themselves.

Jürgen has reached the QF in Nottingham with two tough wins. Plays against Tursunov.

Good win. I will be surprised if he beats Tursunov, though

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Just for the tards here and the Estonians who could've missed.
This is a link to Zopp's interview to the Estonian TV sports news. Not gonna translate all, he trained on artificial grass here before Wimbledon. He said the rise has been really fast and the main goal is to stay in the top 100 by the end of the year, got lots of points to defend. The Olympics are not a big goal. Tbh I really like him more and more.

His draw for Wimby is about as easy as possible.

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Plays Eaton today. If he can nullify the serve then he should be able to dictate the Brit from the baseline...Tougher match than most people expect though, could be a couple of tiebreaks.

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Good win. These matches always come down to a couple of points here and there and he took his chances.
Another tough match against Van der Merwe next. He beat him a couple of weeks ago in a close three setter and I expect this one to be tight as well. Hopefully Jurgen has to much variety over five sets to detain the lanky South African.
