Glad that you find this place sane, it's fairly calm and that's a good thing, especially with the amount of garbage that is flying around.

As for fave players, well I still have them, but there are ways to deal with their results, that don't make you out to be a delusional fuckwit.

I was rooting for Jo yesterday but Nalby's sad face made me feel bad because I like him a lot too.
On the other hand I doesn't have to face the dilemma now whether or not to go to TMC and I really do hope to see his face very happy with the DC final.

Felt very happy for Jo after all the bad luck he had earlier. Hope he does some damage in Shanghai.
I don't mind his so called "antics" at all. To me he's a very spontaneous guy.

Same here. People over here are more then just internet acquaintances to me. More the kind I'd like to know better and eventually be friends with (which of course and unfortunately is almost impossible via the internet).

The most important one up to now has been Canas.
Fav player for me stands or falls with the personality and the fighting spirit. I could like a player's game, but if I don't appreciate him as a person I just can't root for him.

Hi there. I'm still alive. My dad and bro were here for the weekend. everything was fine except that the central heating went down on Sunday morning, and it still isn't fixed. Having a hard time typing this btw.
Happy for Jo. Haven't seen the final. But happy anyway.

No central heating, that must be rough. Btw, do you have double glazed windows.

Morning. Today means back to work for me, after the holiday But the good news is that the central heating seems to be fixed. We weren't sure what was wrong exactly, so we did something and hoped it was the right thing to do. Seems to be working.

I didn't fix it myself. I called the specialist and we thought about what it could be together. But yes, I'm happy it's gonna be soon weekend time

Good that everything is alright Choupi with the house, though being back at work, isn't the best thing.

http://blog.sport.be/thegraveyard/20..._gespeeld.html

Hilarious anecdote in Filip Dewulf’s blog
It’s about “Big Dick Norman” aka “Dikke”.
He was playing in Mexico and had to play singles and doubles semifinal.
He played his singles match, lost and went back to his hotel to get some rest.
A guy followed him and explained in crappy “Spanish-English” that Dick was selected for a doping control.
So Dick got a “chaperone” to stay with him. He was a bit distracted and when he got back to the stadium, he came to the conclusion that he forgot his tennis shoes…
So 3 guys were on the field, waiting to start the match and one guy was desperately trying to find a pair of tennis shoes size 48!!!
A Dutch player (Rogier Wassen) with size 46 agreed to borrow his shoes for 30min because he had to play too and Dick ended up on the field, walking like a geisha… He could hardly walk, let go run…and his partner Jiri Vanek (always punctual like a Swiss watch himself) was FURIOUS.
Meanwhile Dick’s gf rushed back to the hotel for Dick’s shoes in Felipe Massa style and came to his rescue just in time so the guys could win and reach the final.
Happy ending, but I think Vanek will think twice before partnering with Big Dick again

Dewulf is a classic, thanks for that story Marti and I linked his blog to mine.

He believed in the party side of things when it came to tennis, he was more believable for being himself.

Good to see you around Peta.
