Re: The Martin Jaite Appreciation and thanks for the memories Felix Mantilla Chat Thr
Getta, nice to see you could find some time in your studies I was talking about wall painting. Summer is the period of the year I spend a lot of time renovating my old house.
Ah the Olympics. I hope I can watch most of what I wanna watch. Just will have to "play" with time delay. And I particularly will watch out wrestling. Not that I have become a huge fan but we have a local guy from the village I live in who's taking part to the competition. Yannick Szczepaniak. His parents have followed him in China. They are so proud of their son. He finished 6th in his category at the last Olympics, and 5th at the WC. Allez Yannick!! And, as we are almost never granted wrestling on tv, apart from the olympics, it's gonna be now or never.
Re: The Martin Jaite Appreciation and thanks for the memories Felix Mantilla Chat Thr
Hope the local guy does well. Problem with wrestling for me, is when I watch the TV and think of the old French guy Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan.
I love getting a 8GB mp3 player for $40, not because I am so smart or good looking. The other one I had shat itself before the warranty, so I decided to upgrade and get double the capacity.

Yes, it was luck that it was over, now just hope all the transfers worked.

Here is a funny video of Lucho, as a kid, the last time he had a full head of hair.

Enjoyed the Lucho video. I had never seen him as a kid so I loved that part. And Lucho is the kinda guy who doesn't need hair or prototype good looks to be attractive
Hope all went well with the painting job Choupi. It's hard work but very rewarding when it's done and the result is good
Re: The Martin Jaite Appreciation and thanks for the memories Felix Mantilla Chat Thr
It's always enjoyable to see Lucho with hair on his head
The painting job went well. But it's not over. I still have a few days ahead before it's finished. And I wanna avoid too much pain for my wrist. So there are days I don't do any.

My fav disciplines for the Olympics are athletics, gymastics and horses (jumping, military & dressage).
I hope the boy from yr village does well Choupi!
One thing I'm afraid of is the time zone difference I'm afraid it doesn't match too well with ours...
Re: The Martin Jaite Appreciation and thanks for the memories Felix Mantilla Chat Thr
Athens and hot summers go together like pizza and cheese.
The Euros shouldn't be complaining about time zones, most of the huge tennis events and other sporting fiestas are held in quality timezones.
As for Games, well I have made my views on the whole thing with China getting it, but I will watch them albeit with even more detachment than usual.
The channel caters for me with the handball, tennis and football, plus the volleyball as well.

Well, maybe I'm biaised because I like the South American tournaments, but I always miss most of the action there.
AO is easier because the evening matches are on in the morning here so this gives some distraction at work and I can follow the matches during the weekend.
I hope to follow some of the Olympics in the morning, since I'm still on holiday.

Well, my fave sports for these olympics are athletics, handball, fencing, tennis and wrestling ALLEZ Yannick!! As for the time delay, well, I'll try to do my best.
