Also got quite some on my left leg.
A friend of mine who was there and tried to help got pretty many stings too, but I was glad he kept on pouring water.

Stings like hell even today

Fortunately the dog's fur seems to have protected him. I checked him out but he seems ok (animals are much stronger then humans )

Suey, next time you read this I have a question for you. I have a friend from Vermont and another one from Maine. They told me they can recognise people from New York and Mass straight away, without even having to speak, do you have that skill?

Choupi, thanks for that the Oscar Hernandez group on Facebook, will be all the richer for these photos.

Well I would need to have the accents to tell the difference but I will give you an example of what might be different. This is extreme of course and it is a generalization that your friends are speaking of Does not apply to all.

When my Natester was turning one I had a birthday party for him at my home on a sunday afternoon. Invited the nieghbors, relatives and some friends ( the latter 2 from Massachusetts- love that word) One of the Mass couples showed up dressed to the nines while the rest of us were in shorts and T-shirts

So......... Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire are very very laid back. Although when the tourists from Mass and New York head up here for the summer they become laid back as well. It isn't hard to get used to this quiet lifestyle up here. I adore it. And sometimes I think Mainers act and think more like their northern counterparts in Canada

Ok all! Have a great rest of your days. I am off for my walk, a bit of shopping for a house gift and then party
I plan to take my camera and hopefully get some great pics of the scenery. The cottage where the party is at is nestled in what we call the fingertips of the Maine coastline. Absolutely gorgeous view I get myself a chair, sit in it with a glass of sherry ( ) and I don't move for hours Nate is hopeing to get out in a boat with the owner's son. We are suppose to have a gorgeous day here so wish me good relaxing!

The accents would just make it easy for you. I mean the perfect example was the Vermont guy and myself were out on the street and he sees this tourist. He says to me "he's a New Yorker" and then we ended up in the same place and I asked where he was from, and he answered New York, it was brilliant, hehe.

My 2 friends think the New Hampshirites are a bit too conservative, but that isn't surprising. Well as for the lifestyle, it is what you make of it.
