What will be the question for 2012 as I sense a downward trend in fan confidence and expectations.

Simon is incapable of reaching slam final due to lack of tennis skills so it's a pointless debate.

And yet you wonder why I'm laughing my ass off. Have you been fraternizing with CD and caught the same virus?

Why this hatred? Simon is the frenchman who showed most guts in this GS, he was close to beat Federer and you're asking how he could reach a final.

I'm actually asking how he could reach semi final He put up a good fight, that's it. If it was Tsonga or Monfils, you'd be pissing all over them for not winning the match. The joys of extreme bias and racially motivated hatred.

Regardless of whether or not he wins a slam. I think I've lost respect for him mostly because his game is weak compared to the top 3. If he added power to his forehand, he would have been a solid competitor by now.

Albania have bigger chances of entering EU than Murray even winning a set in a GS final... Serbia too...

Admitting you are of the 'glory hunter' type of fan with that quote.

Or he could end up like Lendl at Wimbledon and have the easiest chance against a youngster (Pat Cash), but maybe this time it'll be someone like Harrison, Raonic, or Tomic, as they've all shown that they can be a threat to top players on grass

i do think murray will win a slam eventually. He won't win however if he faces to face djokovic/federer... he can win against nadal on hard court slams

I think Murray can still win a set in GS final.

His scoreline would be something like this: 7-5 2-6 1-6 0-6

Because he will fight in the first set, but after the first set, doubts will start to creep inside his mind, and he'd be like "oh..can I really win a GS.. am I worthy as a GS champion?.. etc" That's when he bends over.

Absolutely! Why not even at the US OPEN this year?
