Damir had a very good junior career, though he never won a Grandslam, or reached Number 1, he won many titles in both singles and doubles. His first singles title was at a G5, and then a couple months later he won a G4, before making it to the finals of a few G3s later. He was runner-up at the G1 Perin Memorial, which propelled his ranking up. His first Grand Slam was Roland Garros in 2009, where he lost in the second round, and then lost in the Quarter-finals in Wimbledon. Afterwards he won the Prestigious European Cup, and then followed that up with a Bronze Medal at the Junior Olympics, before winning a G1 in Canada in both singles and doubles. His final tournament was the Junior US Open, where he lost to Wildcard and eventual winner Jack Sock, in the 3rd round.

On the senior tour, Damir has made the 2nd round of 5 different futures, and the Quarter-finals of one in his home country of Bosnia. He also has two wins for the Bosnian Davis Cup team.

Damir lost pretty badly to Kavcic, 6-0 6-4, and didn't win a single point on Kavcic's serve in the first set. ATP 250's are probably still too high for him.

Damir lost in the first round of the Croatia Futures to number 3 seed Niemenin, in three sets.... He's still not at that level.

In the F2 Croatia Futures, Damir is into the 2nd round, and will play the top seed next round.

Damir goes through the qualification of the F6 Padova. He beat Sebastian Sachs, Petru-Alexandru Luncanu and Enrique Lopez-Perez. In the first round, he will play against Andrea Arnaboldi.
