The level of women tennis is very low today, but there are still champions, and they can do lot of things on the court. Henin was everything Tipsarevic failed to be and she worked hard to win. Plus there are much more upset in majors than before, becasue the top 100 girls are getting more consistent.

Why not? Djokovic won't play like this forever, he is a HC monkey. Federer is mental, he was competitive in several matches with Djokovic but choked when Nole didn't just roll over and die. If he were to get his act together and play to the best of his abilities (much like Djokovic is now) he can easily win slams. Forgotten how convincingly he got WTF? US Open and Wimbledon are not much slower than that.

And I wouldn't expect Roger to fall apart again to Rafa. I mean it certainly could happen, but remember 2008? He got trashed at RG and saved Championship points against him in a five setter at SW19 and could've won that.

At USO, he managed to achieve a 5 setter and holding MPs against the runner up while serving like 35% 1st serves.

What I'm saying is, he is physically capable of doing everything you claim he isn't. Whether he WILL do them however, is a different question.

I could see you digging Caro more because you can't get over Serena's arms, but who would pick boring Wozniacki over Serena for a night out? I mean thats just objectively wrong.

And I don't think Woz looks better than SW btw.

Hard to believe that Nadal, Djokovic, Murray, Soderling and Berdych have all made a Slam Final more recently than Federer

If Roger wins all the Masters 1000 in a year – including Clay – plus the World Tour Finals he can retake the Number 1 ranking. The likelihood of that happening is pretty remote, given that even in his peak years he could only win four in a year.

dont see a problem with it, he'll have at least 10 days rest before starting in Dubai and Indian wells for him starts about 2 weeks later after Dubai

Rotterdam was not a taxing week for him - four matches and not like he takes 4 hours a match like some other clowns up in the top 4.

you ppl should remember the days of Lendl, Mac and Kafelnikov... they played every week singles and doubles finals and never broke down

He's 30 and had back problems earlier in the year. I dont' think it's wise. He better skips Montecarlo

Fed is slowing down, it's normal. as much as I find the title of this thread funny .... comparing Rog with Woz is simply silly. I mean the whole WTA tour is just one big mess.

Clear that Roger is having a go for a final shot at #1 in the world this year.

Rotterdam, easy 500 points, Dubai, more points. Gotta max out those 500 events or else those ATP fuckers stick you with a 0 pointer or two.

Bottom line though, Roger's gotta win at least 1 slam in 2012 (and/or Gold Medal, which is 750 points) to have a shot at Nole/Rafa.

Djoko already has a slam in the bag for 2012. Rafa is sure to hold serve at the French. Roger's best 2 shots for slams are Wimbledon and USO. He ought to get as many points as possible from now to RG, play Halle, and peak at Wimbledon, Canada/Cincy, and USO, and he may take #1 after USO, depending on of course, many many things happening.
