I loved the 2010 match vs Falla.
I mean, I suffered it so much, but it was an amazing tennis-quality match.

I was watching the highlights today... God, what a match, so much drama.

Federer is that special. Winning like this, especially after a tough year with nole and rafa dominating everything in sight is incredible. As far as i know, only aggasi had the motivation and desire to do something like this.
Federer will now almost certainly take the gold and put to rest Any doubts regarding his GOAT status.

Revenge? So in other words it's time for Falla to actually win?

Wanna know the weird thing?
Here in Argentina, there was not live-broadcasting of the match!
I was following the scorelines!
but well... I watched the match later, and yeah, so many errors from Roger, but also so many great points from both.

After knowing the result, it was a great match

I don't even remember the match anymore, just how HAPPY I was when he won, and how I thought I was gonna die of a heart attack. I hope he's kind to us this time round. (Not that I'd get to watch despite having 13 Olympic channels.)

Even if Fed defeated both Andy and Nole in Wimbledon, I'm afraid of Andy. In Wimby final, I think Andy was the better player until the last game of 2nd set, and he's been very impressive at this OG. I'm not that worried about Nole, Wimby SF seemed to be in Roger's control all the time. Also, Nole seems to have been a good opponent for Roger, even last year, Roger seemed to be a tough opponent for Nole 2.0. On the other hand, Andy has better H2H against Fed than Nole has. And I think home crowd is a good thing for Andy. I think Wimby final was Andy's best slam final, possibly because of the home crowd. And don't forget Andy's matches in Wimby like that Gasquet one. And I think home Olympic final is mentally easier match for Andy than home slam final.

Also, I think we haven't seen as good playing from Roger as in Wimby's QF, SF, and final, on the other hand Roger wasn't too impressive either on Wimby's 3R and 4R. And I think the pressure to win the missing singles' Olympic Gold has affected on Roger. This feels somewhat similar to RG '09. But if history is to repeat itself, then Roger will play well in final.

At least I hope Nole wins tonight, I think he'd be an easier opponent for Roger in final.
