You've seen Federer this tired/without legs, and not because of an injury (which I don't think today was about)? For me it is, I have never seen him be so slow, except maybe Wimbledon 2010, the movement to the forehand corner was ridiculously poor.
I think that was one of the reasons he took this loss so well, probably he knew before the match even started that he wouldn't have much of a chance against Murray playing so well.
Waiting on tennis to stop being dead.
