Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 25, 2011)
I hope Gasquet will be fit for this, he pulled out of the DC tie v Austria.
2 weeks rest should be enough though!

He doesn't really deserve it though. I don't think the organisers will give one to him.

You all may know this already, but WC announcement is out.
Milos Raonic, Kei Nishikori, Ryan Harrison, Bernard Tomic, and James Blake.

Philippoussis received WC for qualifying.

Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 28, 2011)
Overall I think Indian Wells did a really good job with their WC selection. You could argue that perhaps another American youngster like Jack Sock would draw more than say Tomic will, but being a Master's Series event I think that you have to award on overall talent regardless of nationality.
I think that they also made a wise call regarding Philippoussis, as giving him a main draw WC to an event of this prestige in his first tourney back would have been going too far, while a qualifying WC rewards his comeback while also drawing greater attention to the preliminary matches.

Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 28, 2011)
I think Tsonga is out for 2-3 months? right?
So he will definitely miss Indian Wells....

Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 28, 2011)
Youzhny being out, Gonzalez will also be out I guess, then Nishikori won't need his wild-card : they might give it to someone else

Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated February 28, 2011)
I read Tsonga put out only for Davis Cup, but he isn't injured, just precaution.
