Marton is on Hungary's Davis Cup team for the upcoming tie. I doubt he'll play a match, unless it's a dead rubber, but still good to see him there.

what do you all think about his year-end ranking? I think if he enter top 300 by the end of the year,that would be a very good result. Although it's very difficult to achieve. Just remember Milos Raonis was around top 350 last year this time, so in 2 years Fucsovics ca be a top 150 player if he keeps up improving.

No, I agree. He'll probably stay at the future level this year, with a few appearances at the challenger stage. He's got the Wimbledon wildcard, and may get a wildcard into one of the Grass ATP qualifying, but I doubt he'll do any damage there. He really needs to step up his game quickly, he's not even picking up points in futures at the moment. |
