Milos looked exhausted. But well done Harrison. Won't get a lot against Roger, but well done to make a run to the round of 16

Hopefully Milos rests up well this week, he has really been looking tired. I'm really unhappy to see Harrison be successful; the US commentators won't ever shut up about him now. Hopefully Fed obliterates him, 0-and-1 would be nice

At least Milos got eliminated in time to avoid a conflict with March Madness this weekend; I won't have to be torn on what to watch

Nice match but disappointing at the end obviously. I'm not sure how he's feeling physically but I agree he did look a bit tired. He wasn't as focused as he's been in the past, especially with those two service breaks in the 3rd. He put up a good fight though.

Hope this early loss here in IW means he'll be all rested for a deep run in Miami

I was right.. this is a time I wish I wasn't, but.. I told you he would lose, and he did. But it was a well deserved win for Harrison, because he played much better that day. Milos needs to improve his movement and RoS if he wants to be able to win over the best returners, like Harrison, Ferrer, Berdych and the top 4 of course.

Anyway, better luck in Miami, Milos! I know you can do it. Hopefully you'll get a nice draw there

It does seem that the scrambling returner type of player is Milos' biggest weakness. While Milos has said that he thought he played ok, I would disagree. After he got down 5-2 in the 3rd set he started really hitting his groundstrokes properly and it showed big time. For most of the match he wasn't hitting anywhere close to as well as he can (he was making a ton of errors as well). I also think that Harrison was playing out of his mind for most of the match as well.

Anyways, this isn't too bad as he got some ranking pts, and I think he is likely to be seeded for Miami, giving him a nice opportunity to rest.

Milos wasn't right. Verdasco can scramble far better than Harrison and that wasn't a problem. He's clearly breaking down from playing far more tennis than he expected.

And its possible having lost to harrison multiple times in juniors influenced him before the match. But look at the tape and the serve was way off, as was the forehand. Surprisingly, the backhand looked more solid!

I'm not saying that Milos can't beat that sort of player, but merely that they are the worst matchup for him. They make him hit more groundstrokes to get winners, which when he isn't playing his best, means too many errors.

I do think Harrison's previous play against Milos gave him a ton of confidence. I do also agree that Milos's serve wasn't that great, but his service points won was still very good and if it wasn't for the gift break to start the 3rd set, I think Milos still wins the match. And I also agree with your forehand/backhand comments, it was Milos' forehand that let him down and cost him an easy victory. Harrison was a good enough retriever that Milos' 80% hard forehand wasn't good enough, and that caused untold problems.

What I like about Milos is that he's got such a good and positive attitude. He is ready to move on after a loss and doesn't let it go to him, unlike certain other players (Verdasco). He also seems to be enjoying himself in all of the different tournaments, making the most of it, getting to really see the cities and what they have to offer. I just love his attitude, and he is very mature for his age both on and off the court. He seems much more mature than Dimitrov and Tomic. I've read some stuff about those two that I'm sorry, but I don't like it very much. I know Milos is older than those two but he also seems more mature, because they come across as brats sometimes, with some very bad behavior. Milos is always nice and polite and humble, which I think a player should to be, but he also has the winning instinct at the same time!

Sorry for my rant. Just read a tweet from Milos and he is always so positive! so I just had to say this Milos is not only a great player but also a great person, and I hope Canada doesn't lose him to Montenegro.

Looks like Milos' rise to the top of the game will hit another milestone in Miami as it looks like he will be seeded. Monfils and Robredo are out, Soderling also likely so... should put him either 31 or 32.

the draw is out http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/403/mds.pdf

Milos is seeded 31 and gets a 1st rnd bye, he'll play the winner of Starace v Devvarman first, and then have a rematch with Ferrer watch out David
