The umpire is scared of Roddick, what a clown.

Re: Milos Raonic
Tough one for Milos; really needed to finish that first set TB when he was ahead. Still, a good week, and there wasn't a lot in the match.

Re: Milos Raonic
Awesome fight from Milos, obviously always is better to win, but he's very young and is rising too fast and I think a lost can help him to realise he must a lot of work and a lot of things to improve if he wants to keep growing and be a player who fights for the important tournaments.
Hopefully he pull out of Acapulco and rest, anyway regarding the match is on clay and that he had play 10 matches in 2 weeks I think it will be hard to beat Berlocq

Re: Milos Raonic
Great match; I agree that in the long run it may be better for him to keep it close, but end up losing. He was done in by the disappearance of his 1st serve in the 3rd - only 48%. No doubt fatigue catching up with him.
I don't know why he is playing in Acapulco, but he can limit the damage by losing 1st round (would be the 1st tournament of the year where he hasn't won at least 1 match).

Re: Milos Raonic
I can see Milos winning maybe the first round, but he will crash and burn Dolgopolov.

Re: Milos Raonic
As long as his body is holding up I don't really see a problem with him playing in Acapulco. I think Milos should be able to win his first round but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't either. It'll be good practice on the clay either way.

Re: Milos Raonic
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him lose pretty easily against Berlocq, and I doubt he'll fight too much if he drops the first set. I assume he was headed to Acapulco anyway, and when he could get the SE, he figured he might as well get a little live match practice in.

Re: Milos Raonic
Too bad he didn't win. That approach shot on MP was bad bad bad. All he had to do was hit to the opposite corner that he did, voila point won.
Oh well, I guess you can put it down to experience. In the future he would make that shot probably.

I disagree completely, Roddick made one of the best shots of his life while diving. I think Milos played that point well and wins taht EXACT point 99 times out of 100.

Re: Milos Raonic
I wanted Milos to win. His behavior on the court really impressed me. He was always focused and not pumping himself up. With his game he did not need to do it. I felt the umpire was afraid of Andy as someone mentioned earlier. Thank heavens Milos won the point when Andy got it on the second bounce. The umpire was afraid to call it. Memphis needs to get the machines that call the lines.

I agree. I actually think he would have won if he wasn't so tired. He mentioned he was fatigued in the presser after the semifinal. 48 % first serve is very low, especially from Milos. So you could obviously see the fatigue getting to him. But one tournament win and getting to another final.. IN TWO WEEKS! That is AMAZING! He did well. He can be proud of himself even though he didn't win Memphis
I am really interesting in seeing him on clay, I'm not expecting much, since his game isn't really suited for clay, but.. you never know. I think the most important thing for him is to get the clay feeling before the Davis Cup tie. Where is Canada playing Davis Cup btw? In Mexico?
