I think Milos will probably drop the rematch with Verdasco, a letdown after such a big win wouldn't be a surprise. Of course, he could echo Del Potro in '08, and reel off a run of wins on courts that favour his game.

This kid is REALLY good. Big fan and a permanent one. I look forward to following him and his game from now on.

Guess Montenegro would go all out to get Milos though considering you can't produce even a half decent footballer... I'm sure he has tons of fond memories of the place living there from 0-3 years old.
What has Canada produced? Nobody cares about hockey.

Heard of Steve Nash - or are you too busy watching handball?

Pathetic half your posts on MTF have been in this thread. And we were really glad to see you and all the other Montenegran posters here a year ago when Milos was ranked in the 200's. I'm sure you were claiming him as one of your own back then too.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Milos gets a WC to Indian Wells. There are five spots, and really can you think of 5 Americans that are locks to get one? Young probably one, Blake another, after that Milos has a very strong case. With the hype now too he would sell as many tickets as a Ryan Sweeting or Michael Russell.

You can listen to Milos' post-match interview here:

http://www.lovemeansnothing.ca/

Really impressive composure and level-headedness (and wit). Interesting bit about the exchange with Galo Blanco on what happened in Jo'burg. I like the fact that he says he doesn't want to be known as a person that is disrespectful. Shows good character. Also very candid about things that others might find too embarrassing to admit to.

Myles reports that Milos is going to Acapulco to practise next week in advance of DC, but won't play qualies. Sounds sensible.

Also mentions re. clay: "Improving and trying to get good results on clay is something I’m going to focus on,” Raonic said. “I think it’s necessary, to be one of the top players nowadays, to be able to play on all surfaces. Because pretty much (all the top players) can.

“It’s something I’m going to have to put a lot of effort into.”

So does that mean he will go directly into the main draw or is he just going to skip that tournament altogether?
