Re: Milos Raonic
Milos Raonic has a bye in the Rogers Cup. His Second Round opponent will either be Bogomolov Jr. or Troicki- Playing today at 12.00pm on Grandstand.
Third Round opponent may be Andy Murray
Quarter Final opponent may be John Isner
Semi Final opponent may be Tomas Berdych
Final opponent may be Novak Djokovic
That is if he wins and the other players win but the draw is wide open now that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have withdrawn. Others like David Ferrer and Verdasco are also not here so maybe Milos Raonic has a chance and take advantage of being at home!

Re: Milos Raonic
Milos Raonic is up against Andy Murray next in the Third Round. This is a tough opponent BUT, I watched his match yesterday and he had a knee injury that may still be concering him tonight. Also, Milos will have all of the crowd on his side, which will be different for Andy Murray who has had home advantage for the past two months. Milos has also beaten Andy before in Barcelona this year, which will make Milos postive. I believe that Milos will win tonight, if he tries REALLY hard and improves his return tonight! But if he doesn't win, there's always next year!
We all believe in him and he should believe that he can do anything!

Re: Milos Raonic
Good win for Milos against Gasquet. He hadn't beaten anyone ranked above him since he beat Murray in April - in fact he hadn't beaten anyone in the top 30. Looked like maybe it was affecting his confidence, so it should probably give him a boost to dispose even of an exhausted Gasquet.

Re: Milos Raonic
3 set win against Baghi but I wasn't too impressed with Milos' play, particularly in the first set. He is way too passive. I think Sportsnet 1 is going to show the match at 11 eastern for anyone that wants to watch.

Re: Milos Raonic
I'd say Milos's chance of beating Stan tomorrow is about 40/60. Did well today to regain the upper hand emotively to see off Berdych in the third. Would like to see him get to the quarters will a crack at the semis at the open this year.

Re: Milos Raonic
Sad to hear that Milos lost against Stan yesterday, even after an impressive first set score. Not sure what happened in the second and third sets, I wasn't able to watch the match. Would have been nice to see Milos reach his first Masters Semi-Final. He should definitly go up in the rankings when they are released on Monday, I'm thinking around 16, depending on the Roger/Stan match tonight.

Re: Milos Raonic
US Open 2012 Draw has been revealed!
Milos will go up against Santiago Giraldo in the First Round. They both played each other at Wimbledon this year and Milos won the match 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
If he gets through that, his Second Round opponent would be either Paul-Mathieu;( or Igor Andreev
Third Round opponent may be Marcel Granollers/James Blake(Keep an eye on James Blake)
Fourth Round opponent may be Andy Murray
If Milos does progress any further, he will go on to meet Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (QFs), Roger Federer (SFs) and Novak Djokovic (Fs)
This is an opportunity for Milos to collect some ranking points so he can climb his way up the rankings!
BEST OF LUCK MILOS FOR THE US OPEN!

Re: Milos Raonic
Looks like Milos is up first tomorrow on a TV court, TSN2 and TSN.ca will have it. Should be fairly straightforwards if he plays well, don't think Giraldo is on any particularly good form.

Re: Milos Raonic
Milos 1st serve sucked (54%)
His 2nd serve sucked (Only made 80% of his 2nd serves)
His BH was horrific
His FH was eratic and he was prone to pushing it
He got more frustrated and annoyed on court that I have seen in a long time (hitting the court with his raquet, yelling at himself, etc).
Yet, despite all that, he managed to come back from 2-1 down and down a break in the 4th set to win without needing a tiebreaker. This was THE worst that he has played in a long time, and he won.
