Considering they don't even stream MD matches on most courts, I would think we'll probably be looking one, maybe two courts. I think odds are slim we'll see one of our boys on there, unless they draw an Aussie.

It sucks. I rarely get so see the Canadians play. I would love to watch them play in AO, even if it is just the qualies

Re: Canadian Players 2
I read 4 courts would be live streamed
As for the subforum
Once the Aussie Open is finished we will be opening up the polling process again for new forums to be added - you can request one at that time and we'll look into it and see if activity justifies the creation of a new forum

Re: Canadian Players 2
Ah feels good to have a new fresh forum. I mean I think we should have a sub-forum. I mean look this is the 21st post of the day.

Re: Canadian Players 2
We easily have an argument for our own sub-forum, especially considering we talk about everyone from Raonic to Dancevic to Chvojka to Krainik to Peliwo, as opposed to some of the other sub-forums which talk about their top players and that's it.

Re: Canadian Players 2
I see I am going against the flow here, but I like having a single thread for all the Canadians. It makes one-stop shopping for us, which is convenient, and it has a nice equalizing effect as all the players have the same claim to notice. (I know we do have the separate thread for Dancevic, but it seems like we often end up posting on his progress here as it easier to put all the updates in one place).

I know what you mean, that's why I never asked before we got to 5000 in the other one. I'm indifferent either way, but with a Frank thread and now a Milos one, it looks like we are spreading out.

Re: Canadian Players 2
AO Qualifying draw is out, and for once I really love the draws the canadians got.
Milos should qualify easily in my mind
Frank should as well, he got a dream draw I think, both the seeds in his section are off their game, and not really any scary unseeded players there
Peter's draw is decent, he would face a very tricky 3rd round opponent no matter who he would play really, but he got a favorible opener, and i can see him beating Huta Galung if he plays well
Bester's draw is nice as well, not expecting him to qualify, tough opener with Massu but he's older now, so definately beatable.
All in all I'm more than pleased

Re: Canadian Players 2
Aussie Open qualy draw is out
http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/.../qs/index.html
I really like Frank's draw (for once) - I think getting by Chiudinelli is very feasible. Ungur in the first round is a dream match-up.
Milos came out pretty well too - I think his first match against Goffin is the trickiest. But Niland is beatable. He should be the favorite to come out of this section.
Bester plays Massu in round 1 and dont know what to expect there. But even if he wins, beating Kravchuk and possibly Bolelli is a tough draw.
I think Peter has the worst draw though. Cabal in the first round is beatable, but its probably Huta Galung in round two. I dont see Peter getting past him.
Unfortunately no Canucks drew a big name and/or Aussie, so I'm not confident we'll get to see any livestreams. Lets see.

Re: Canadian Players 2
Some clown in GM thinks that Goffin is more talented than Rafael Nadal so I dunno about Raonic....

Re: Canadian Players 2
milos - goffin is probably one of the worst first rounds a seeded player could have gotten. We have seen how good he can be when he took wawrinka to his limit just a while ago. I would not put it past goffin to upset milos and it will certainly be his toughest match. There are some tricky other guys but, like i said in the milos thread no one else he should lose to.
peter - not a very nice draw, should get past the first round but hutta galung in the second round is tough. If he gets to the final round my pick for who he'll play is kuznetsov, who can beat anyone else in the draw when he's on. I dont really see peter qualifying but we'll see
philip - in what he could have gotten he did get a very nice draw and he could beat massu but i just dont see him qualifying.
frank - are you kidding me? how happy am i with this draw? frank qualifies 100% sure
