Well at least it's a Giraldo played well story, not a Gillou played appallingly badly - that's better, though not great.

Doesn't bode well for the rest of the season. No matter how Giraldo played, Gilles would have had a hard time winning a match when he gets in this sort of mood from first game on.

Thanks for the report and @your location info. ^^

oh dear! What the hell happened there Thanks for the report Davodus. He has such a good chance of rising through the rankings early on, I hope he doesn't waste it. Such a shame, i though he had a really good draw too, ah well, onwards and upwards Gilles! (please)

Not sure soundly beaten by Giraldo is any better than playing appallingly bad. Either way, sucks that he starts another season grumpily yet again. Getting older hasn't calm him down yet .

Thanks Davodus for the pics and report.

Saw this at Ayane's blog, from L'Equipe:

BRISBANE —

— F. Ra.

Google translate is not doing that well so I don't quite understand what he said at the second half of the paragraph. But it seems he's not that good at keeping his new year resolution. Oh well, Gilles, you have a whole year to keep trying .
