Re: College Players on the ATP Tour - UCLA Frosh Kosakowski d. NCAA Champ Johnson @US
Some interesting happenings in the Venezuelan futures. Roberto Maytin has done well. he finished the year ranked 93 in college tennis and played 4 or 5 for Baylor much of the season. Jesus Bandres has also won a few in Venezuela, he played #3 for ETSU and did not finish in the top 125. This shows that there are a lot of quality college players. Players far down the rankings or not even in the rankings can win future matches. And in Maytin's case can consistently do it.

How about Kosakowski? He trashed no. 106 Tatsuma Ito in Los Angeles qualies 6-0 6-2. Now won against Kudla and qualified.

Re: College Players on the ATP Tour - Future, Current, Former College Stars Shining
Yeah that was also impressive. Looks like Kosakowski made the correct the decision in turning pro at this moment.

Re: College Players on the ATP Tour - Future, Current, Former College Stars Shining
Good futures results for ex-Big-10 players lately.
Moneke on fire in German clay futures, W-F-W the last three weeks.
Also, former Badger Marek Michalicka won a Slovak clay future.

Michalika was always underrated while he was at Wisconsin. Good to see him doing well at the pro level now.
