Fair point, but they were just on another level compared to Djokovic.

If he can win Wimbledon, then he can win the others.

That said, it's very, very doubtful he'll even make a Wimbledon final.

He will beat most of the players he should beat. He will struggle against more talented players like Federer, Nadal and Murray, but could achieve more than Murray. Lendl achieved more than McEnroe, but McEnroe was obviously the more talented and capable.
I agree with all of that.

He's very robotic with his game.
Nothing spectacular at all.
The other top 4 have something different about them than other players.

Djokovic is just a better version of a lot of players.

Lendl managed to win 3 of the 4 GS events and reached the final at W so was very close to a Career Grand Slam himself. Would not surprise me if Djokovic wins AO, FO and USO, but cannot adjust and adapt sufficiently to the demands of grass at Wimbledon.

I think many people are just looking at the current players when doing this prediction, "oh when Nadal declines he can win RG", well, newsflash, he has been KOed from RG by players other than Nadal, Nadal and Djokovic are almost the same age, and sooner or later a new clay phenom will appear pretty much like Nadal did a few years ago. So yeah, picture me pretty sceptic of Djokovic's chances of winning RG. He's good on clay, but not that good. He has a good chance to win slams on HC, but that's about it.

djoko not wining wimbledon as a given is overblown. why wouldnt he? what, he doesnt move as well on the grass. that might be true but in this day and age, and for a guy of djokos athleticism, it doesnt matter so much, especially if hes dialed in.

he would've been in the final this year had he not pre-choked against berdych, and what would happened next boils down to a meeting that didnt happen. so as usual when talking with djoko wining slams, we come to fedal as a reason why he isnt wining any more.

so what are his chances of beating federer at wimbledon? originally slim, but as time passes and he comes back to form, improves his serve, and old man fed gets even older, that eventual encounter just might be in djokos favor, if it happens at all.

against nadal - its becoming increasingly tiresome to talk about any players chances anywhere with nadal in this form, and djoko is no exception. on grass, of course, his chances of beating rafa are less small than on clay, though I do question whether djoko would by definition play worse at wimbledon than at, say, usopen, once at the stage where he would fight for the title.

No, YOU came to that reason. Melzer, Berdych and Tsonga are not Fedal. Novak is vulnerable to other players, not just Fedal.

take health issues, slump and bad serve out of that equasion and you will see that normally djoker beats meltzer, berdych and tsonga at slams

Yeah, and Nadal normally beats Federer and Murray too, but he also can lose to them. Well, Novak is even more vulnerable, thaat's he only has 1 slam.

The poll is bound to be weighted in favour of yes because the question is can he rather than do you expect him to do so.

How on earth can you even fathom Djokovic winning RG in Nadal's era? He's not even second best. Even Roger's better than him on clay. His best bet is another AO.

There was one on the house-front immediately opposite.BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, the caption said, while the dark eyes looked deep into Winston's own. Down at street level another poster, torn at one corner, flapped fitfully in the wind, alternately covering and uncovering the single word INGSOC. (1.1.4)
