Yes, but if he gets closer to Edberg and Becker's 6 Slams + winning 15+ Masters Series titles, he could be called "one of the greatest", but never the GOAT. He'll have to walk a loooooong road.

How Nole may have lost so many consecutive MS Finals. He should have won 7-8, instead of only 5.

One more fun and realistic question is: Can Nole take the retirement Career Grand Slam?

Thanks again for the laugh, young Scot.

This topic should be in a separate ultra-advanced discussions forum.

I'd like it if you ceased calling me "young Scot".

Or would you like me to call you "25 year old American" all the time?

Now, 25 year old American, care to explain what makes my post so funny, or are you just going to post "thanks for the laugh, young Scot" all the time instead?

He is good enough to win all 4, but the question is "Is he fit enough?" He usually has nothing left in the tank by the second week of a slam.

But doesn't it depend on his first 3-4 matches? In Melbourne 2008, he reached the Final without dropping a set. He also reached 2 more Finals and usually he doesn't have so big problems in the 1st week.

If he won a career GS including Wimbledon with his style of play, then no one can ever say this is a strong era ever again.

He is not good enough.
His style of play, his fitness and his talent is not good enough.
He's becoming worse and worse and his fitness is starting to become quite bad as well.

He does not have what it takes to win another grand slam, let alone the career grand slam.

Not really.
His fitness is questionable even if he does get easy draws, which he does a lot.
He is still at number three in the world because of easy draws, and he's still gasping after four matches.
He does not have what it takes to win the career grand slam.

I wouldn't put too much taught into the strong era arguement...those who spread that propaganda have their hidden agenda. They are also the ones that state the slowing down of the courts is false.
