You've been around MTF sine the very start, haven't you star?

How were the people back in 2002? I recall seeing threads from 04ish that had cordial discussion. I think in 2005 it started going downhill and by 06 the Fedal wars have been on and are still ongoing.

Surely in all that time you've realized that if you just view MTF as entertainment and not have such an emotional stake on it, it is a pretty good show. Good theatre

It's always been a hellhole.

The first object of irrational hatred was Lleyton. Rebecca and GWHitler were the leaders of that pitchfork brigage. Then next was Roddick. GWH had MULTIPLE accounts where his double accounts would say, "Great post, GWH." Tangy and Hosie has a big fight one time. Wars between Nalbandian fans and Roddick fans. Safin fans pretty much ruled the board -- might still do. Then Federer came into his own and there were more wars and then it's pretty much what you see now.

There were always trolls. Maybe you don't see their posts because they would get deleted. I think double accounts were more of a problem then -- not sure because I've never been good at spotting them.

I can't help but think that these "contests" spread a lot of poison on the board.

scoobs, Genci is lying. It was me who hacked kosta's account, and I must be banned. It was a desperate cry for help as I felt myself getting sucked back in to MTF's murky depths.

As punishment for Genci wasting MTF police time, I suggest he be banned from having a signature.
