What do you all think about his comeback? Can he gain back his pre-injury form? I have doubts,but hope the opposite. The only thing is he has 6 more tournaments with good positions, then he enters tournaments as a number 400 whatever. So? Do you think he can do well in Memphis or Indian Wells later?

I think he can, but it will probably take some time, maybe a year, maybe even longer. he has don't as expected up till now. He hasn't won more or less matches than I though he would. I'd be happy with a couple of wins each tournament, which is what I expected and what we basically got.

Will be interesting to see how he does in the upcoming months, though like I said.. I'm not expecting any miracles this season. It will take some time before he's back to his pre-injury form.

Anyway, where is he playing next? I know he's playing San Jose, but is he playing anywhere before that?

I am sure he'll get back in Top 10 soon. Even in Sydney and Melbourne, he showed his great class, game and talent. In a year, he'll be one of the best tennis players, again

he should start to have interesting results with the clay season,

then with the hard court season ( summer ) Del Potro will be much more dangerous for his opponents ( he should beat more easily guys like top 30 players ), then I hope he will play with a solid top 20 level for the rest of the season

no davis cup for Del Potro in march :

En la primera ronda de la "Copa Davis", Argentina se enfrentará Rumania, del 11 al 13 de marzo, con un equipo conformado por Nalbandián, Mónaco, y el equipo de dobles Schwank/Zeballos.

Pero Del Potro no jugará, ya que el apunta a los torneos norteamericanos del "ATP World Tour" donde se siente más cómodo. Sin embargo jugaría en julio, si la Argentina llega a cuartos de final, probablemente ante República Checa.

Del Potro's carrier is one of the saddest I've ever seen. He's 2009 form was so bright and I really believed he can make the top 2 in 2010,and then came the injury......I think he'll never gain back his 2009 form.....Federer,Nadal and Djokovic are way lucky because of Potro's absence. I think Juan Martin would be a multiple slma winner without that fucking injury. I guess everybody agrees with this statement,it's just too painful to write it down.

Lockya19, I just try not to think about bad things. I try to believe that he'll soon get back in Top 20, then in Top 10 and he'll fight for GS titles. He just needs more practice. I am optimistic
