Yesssssssssss. He should be able to beat Fognini for the final berth. Tommy didn't play this tourney last year so does this mean if he wins he gets the full 250 points added to his ranking? Or does something else come off?

I'm not sure... I always find the rankings a bit confusing  I think he loses last year's points for this week, and gains this year's points, regardless of which tournaments he played/plays?
I'll be watching live stream tonight! The other semifinal can also be quite interesting... Watching tennis and eating a nice dinner, great way to spend a Saturday evening  |

Ok, what happened between Fognini and Tommy? I knew there were instances during the match where they were yelling at each other and giving each other dirty looks, but Tommy refused to shake his hand after he won, and the crowd was booing him so loudly he refused to give the post-win interview. What caused all that? I was doing homework while watching, so I obviously missed something.

They did draw each other, it's on the Brasil Open website. Yikes! That will be a tense match. I hope there is a live stream! 
The Tommy haters on MTF are coming out in full force now after this afternoon's incident.

All that matters is he won. But I would think that episode between the two would somehow get onto You Tube. That had to be memorable. Hope he'll put it aside for tomorrow's match. He's tough. I think he will.

Agreed... I also find it hard to believe that Tommy would refuse to shake hands for no apparent reason. He also looked quite hurt when he was waiting for the interview and the crowd kept booing him 
So... what exactly did Fognini do then? I had a very crappy live stream that kept freezing, plus the sound was horrible... not that I would've been able to understand what they were saying |
