Re: Robin SoderKing‘s 2011
2.The Australian Open:
the a very successful opening in Brisbane, robin went to Melbourne for the first GS in 2011.
First Round Potito Starace 6-4, 6-2, 6-2
Second Round Gilles Muller 6-3, 7-6 (7-1), 6-1
Third Round Jan Hernych 6-3, 6-1, 6-4
Fourth Round Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-1, 3-6, 1-6, 6-4, 2-6
although losing is very disappointing, robin got his best result in AO.
the next tournament will be in Rotterdam.Robin is the defending champion.
Let us keep our fingers crossed for him.

Re: Robin SoderKing‘s 2011
Yes, Robin should really skip Estoril, it's just not necessary.
You know, only the best 2 ATP 250 results count (or sometimes 3 if the ATP 500 aren't good enough) and he already won Brisbane and still has Bastad in his points until July. And there's still Marseille and Halle to play, that's enough 250's.
I just hope he skips Estoril. Otherwise he became quite a scheduling mug

Re: Robin SoderKing‘s 2011
His past scheduling during the fall was awful. Last year, he played at Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai, and Stockholm all back to back. I hope he doesn't do that this year. I would skip Kuala Lumpur because slow and low bouncing doesn't suit Robin's game. If he really wants to play during that week, he should play at Bangkok, which plays more quickly than Kuala Lumpur. I would just skip it because three back to back tournaments is already more than enough. Valencia is also slow and low bouncing, which doesn't prepare him for Paris. He should play at Basel instead, which plays much more quickly than Valencia, and is a good lead-in for Paris.

Robin used the same schedule in the past two years.actually, i hope he can skip Kuala Lumpur, too.Because robin has no good result in that kind of condition of weather, such as Chennai.

Re: Robin SoderKing‘s 2011
His clay season this year is also awful . I'll really worry about his health and strength if he keeps such schedule. He should skip some tours to keep healthy and to focus the best for high tours

Re: Robin SoderKing‘s 2011
4.Marseille 13 Open(ATP 250)
Second Round Nicolas Mahut W 7-6 (10-8), 7-6 (7-5)
Semifinals Dmitry Tursunov W 7-5, 6-1
Quarterfinals Michael Llodra (8) W 6-1, 6-4
Final Marin Cilic W 6-7 (8-10), 6-3, 6-3
the 3rd title in 2011,the 9th in career and the match record in 2011 is 17-1.so amazing!!BTW:robin lost the fisrt tie-break in 2011 to Marin Cilic in the first set of fanal game with 8-10.
i think for all of us,this championship is unplanned, because robin had got another one in Rotterdam and Marseille is the back-to-back tournament.
we have no necessary to say some other words. All work had paid!2011 must be an unforgetable year for Robin and us.
next match is the Davis Cup,SWE vs RUS!

Re: Robin SoderKing's 2011
And of course he gets a nigh impossible draw in IW. He'll probably loose to his mini fed nemesis Kohli in the third, if not that, then either DelPo or Murray, but not thinking that he'll beat Kolhi 2 times in a row. Plus this is outdoors and it's supposed to be windy, which Robin dislikes.. Dark weeks ahead Happy post right, I'm just furious that he always get such hard draws with opponents that dont suit him at all in most "big" tournaments. :/
