Just as I couldn't give a fuck about your opinion. Happy now. No one gives a fuck, Hewitt least of all what some tossers on a tennis board think.

Ozdog made some pretty good points about Lleyton Hewitt. Those who "disagreed" with him made no attempt to make any point at all. They just called him names and insisted that he was wrong without providing any meaningful facts to back up their assertions.

That makes me think that Ozdog is 100% right and the "vast majority" just can't face up to it.

I hope Hewitt hangs around until Tomic and he meet at the Australian Open then Tomic destroys him and that's that

No - what would be ridulous is a Wimbledon champ having his ass handed to him by every kid who decided to join the tour for a year or 2 instead of going to college.

Have you even read this thread? How about you contribute something meaningful to it instead of this nonsense.

I have read the thread. I couldn't care less about Autralia's national tennis program, but I don't see why people shouldn't be able to talk about player-retirement without getting attacked on this board.

And what justification have you made. Hewitt=Legend's contribution in one post far outweighed the 10 jokes you've contributed to this thread. You made one half explained point that was utter nonsense and when other posters made a reply you failed to provide a solid argument that supported your viewpoint.

When "other posters reply" means that they start insulting me and insisting that I have no right to speak about the topic. Yeah - I guess that isn't the best way to have a meaningful conversation about the subject. But that's really what they want, isn't it? They insult Ozdog and then they insult me because they'd rather we not discuss Hewitt's retirement... because Lleyton Hewitt should obviously retire and they have no reasonable way to dispute that fact.

travel a bit, buy another house... sure... there are plenty of reasons to continue...

notwithstanding the fact that as current australian #1 the guy might have a duty to continue playing until he physically cant so that someone picks up the baton, just as rafter had left for him...

in all honesty, no one is tarding hewitt here, no one's delusional about hewitt, not these days, he's past it, long past it... so in all likelihood, you and ozdog got insulted because you probably deserved it...

Someone who still enjoys competing and won an ATP title this year should retire because you and Ozdog say so?

If Hewitt loses ten matches in a row, he'll still be a dual major winner. Nothing can take away what he's earned. As long as he wants to compete as a professional and is physically able to do so, he should - even if that doesn't make you happy, that is the fact.
