Re: Zabaleta tv Show
It was a hilarious show!
First they show David's bungee jumping, and how nervous Mariano was before it. His hands were sweating, and he didn't dare to jump! he was trying to unbotton his coat, but then decided not to jump! LOL
Then, theye was a "mini" interview with Calleri in which he talked about how great Federer is and how his married life helped him deal with tennis.
Then, there was a sketch with Chela, Zabaleta and Horna. They're awful actors! LOL
And finally Zabaleta, tried to teach some tennis lessons to a tv host.
Nice show

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
Hello everyone, 1st time posting in this forum
I tried watching the show through that link last Sunday and today, and it said something like they weren't authorized to show that show's content over the Internet, so all I got were ads, the whole half hour... Help?
And hey, what did Chela, Zabaleta and Horna did on that skecth?

LOL!!! I don't know the word either in English but I know what you mean... portero de discoteca... Normally those people are really big, but Chela being so skinny... that must have been so funny!!!

The word in England is "bouncer". They are the big guys who stand at the door of clubs and stop undesirable people getting in! The word comes from the fact that if people don't go willingly these big guys can physically pick them up and "bounce" them out

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
OK, there was some improvement this week: I could actually watch the show instead of half an hour of ads, but couldn't hear it...

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
I watched half of the show. There was a very nice interview with Juan Monaco, in which he told how was his first ATP experience. He told that after beating Lapentti and the Bs As Lawn tennis, he was in the front cover of Clarin, but his coached warned him not to read anything at all, so he didn't. He was gonna take a cab to go to the court, and the cab driver said: You're the tennis player that was in the cover of Clarin! and Juan said: No, you're wrong, I'm not Coria! -I know, you're Juan Monaco!. then Juan wanted to know what it was about, but his coach didn't let him reading anything till after Chela's match.
There seemed to be a very nice friendship between Mariano and Juan, it was nice.
Then there was some very funny Vienna footage. Lucas Arnold was changing his son's diaper in the locker room and Massu, Mariano and Markus were complaining about the smell. It was too funny! especially when they were trying to convince Markus to do it cause he was about to have a baby

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
Aw, I did get to see the baby, I think he was cute Also all the Juan Monaco interview, but couldn't hear a thing... Also at the beginning there was some footage of someone in a plane, done with nightvision, but couldn't recognize him [the quality was kind of bad. Anyway, thanks for your review, Jazz_Girl!

sounds interesting!!
Mariano seems to have the best relation with other argentian players, and the most popular one in that group?

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
On today's show, Mariano interviewed Acasuso, they talked about his career, his friends on the tour:like mariano, Cañas, Calleri and Chela. And he told some anecdotes, like when he played an exhibition in Argentina, he was playing against Chela, got injured. He was taking a shower when he heard some yeiling, and it was a guy that go in the locker room, telling him to go back to court. But Mariano and Cañas's physical trainer stopped him
Then they show some funny footage from Vienne. Mariano was trying on some funny hats. Then they play a skecth with Hood, Rodriguez, Mariano and Massu. It was from an Argentinian tv show in which all the guests have luch. Mariano said he was a drug queen and told everything about his surgery to change of sex LOL!
Then, Mariano was checking his e.mails, but he had none, so Chela told him: this is what happens when you're 50 in the world, when you were 30 your box was full.

Re: Zabaleta tv Show
On today's show Mariano tried to teach some tennis to catherine Fulop, she's Gabriela Sabatini's sister in law. It was very funny, cause she sucked!
Then they show some footage, in which Mariano tried to make a contest to see who was the smarter, so he asked a question to Chela, and then tried to ask Horna another: "which is the capital of Lima?", they agreed on that Mariano wasn't the smartest one LOL!
Then he made an interview with Cañas, in which he said that if at the beginning of the year, someone would have told him that he was gonna end up 60, he would have been more than happy, and the Masters is a gift to him.
There was also an interview with Etlis, I don't remember the whole interview, but I do remember him saying that if he wasn't a tennis player, he would be a secret agent
If I remember something else, I'll post it later.
