Totally agree with you but it is a long and expensive flight to go and risk to play just a 35K on that side of the world. Probably the tournament should have been held before or after Seoul. I`m not sure how certain things works with the Challenger tour but there are many tournaments that should had been reescheduled . This is one of them for instance.

Soeda shouldn`t find many troubles to be one of the finalists. I think Tomic has a good chance to advance and possibly give Soeda some troubles on a potential semifinal match. Tomic will make the jump as Dimitrov is doing but he should take this kind of tournaments to gain experience and points.
Really poor bottom half of the draw. Niland shouldn`t have many troubles to be the other finalist if he is not so tired after playing in Salzburg and that long flight from Salzburg to Japan. Strange schedule for Niland.
